Does the color bleed when washing the yarn?
Our yarn is carefully dyed and rinsed to minimise colour loss. However, especially with dark and intense colours, a small amount of colour may be released during the first wash. We recommend washing the yarn separately for the first time, by hand, in cold water with a wool detergent.
Are there other types of yarn available?
We are constantly working on expanding our collection! Keep an eye on our website and social media to stay updated on new yarn bases and limited editions.
Can I pick my own colors?
Yes, at SillyGooseYarns we offer the option to choose your own color! Contact us through the contact form to discuss the possibilities.
Do you also attend markets or fairs?
We regularly try to attend markets and fairs to present our yarns. Check our social media pages for an up‑to‑date overview of the events we’ll be attending. You can find us on Instagram!
What if my yarn is not the same as in the picture ?
My yarn is hand‑dyed, which means every skein is one‑of‑a‑kind. It also means the colors are tricky to photograph perfectly.
Depending on the light, camera, and your screen, the shade you see here might look a little different in real life. Those small differences are part of what makes each skein special.
