The best care for your yarn
The most important thing is to wash your SillyGooseYarns wool by hand using a special wool detergent. As an alternative, you can use a gentle machine cycle at a maximum of 30 degrees (this is not possible for all our bases but that will be stated in the description). Avoid fabric softener. During the first wash, the colour may bleed slightly, so wash the item separately at first. I do my best to rinse and treat the yarn thoroughly, but this can still happen occasionally.
Our collection
At the moment, I offer virgin wool, felting wool, merino wool and cotton. In the future, more types of yarn will become available. Some experimental batches are made from other materials. This will always be clearly indicated on the product page.
Tips to keep the colors beautiful
To preserve the beautiful colours of your SillyGooseYarns yarn, we recommend washing it by hand, not too warm, avoiding fabric softener, and using a colour‑safe wool detergent.
